Our life is composed greatly from dreams, from the unconscious, and they must be brought into connection with action. They must be woven together.

Anais Nin (1903 - 1977)

If there is a universal description for fabulous New Orleans it would definitely be this: “Fun!” The possibilities for entertainment are absolutely endless. After an intellectually stimulating day of great speakers, captivating conversation and deep learning, relax and unwind and head over to the French Quarter, a short walk from our hotel, or go on a leisurely stroll to see the majestic Mississippi River.

Some of our favorite suggestions:

A conference exclusive
You are invited to an exclusive screening of the underground film sensation, What the Bleep Do We Know?

Directed and produced by William Arntz, our closing keynote speaker, What the Bleep is a mix of documentary, New Age philosophy, scientific inquiry and engaging and enlightening fictionalized story. If you haven’t seen it, it’s difficult to describe… interviews with physicists, spiritual gurus and psychiatrists are interspersed among the story of Amanda (Academy Award winning Marlee Matlin) a photographer who is plunged into a fascinating journey of discovery and inquiry into what constitutes reality, how we create our world, how our bodies shape our emotions (and vice versa) and how religion and science are moving ever closer in defining the universe and spirit. If you have seen it, you’ll learn something new at each viewing, plus you’ll have the opportunity to share it with hundreds of other CoachVille members and conference attendees.

The French Quarter
As New Orleans’ oldest neighborhood, the French Quarter offers a unique allure. Alive with history, myth and music, the French Quarter attracts visitors from around the world to its well-traveled, historic streets. The French Quarter is a legendary destination for all the best New Orleans has to offer – fine drink, deep jazz, beautiful people and fun times.

You’d expect great jazz at hotspots like Jazz Parlor at Storyville (125 Bourbon St., 504-410-1000) and you won’t be disappointed. But perhaps you’ll be surprised to find such a rich variety of sounds, ranging from Latin to zydeco to blues, R&B and swing.

Cast a “prosperity spell”and explore New Orleans’ rich cultural heritage in the many quaint shops that are mainstays of New Orleans’ famed French Quarter. Visit fun places like New Orleans Mistic (2267 Saint Claude Avenue) for a bottle of “spiritual oil,” magic powders and other curios you can’t get anywhere else but New Orleans.

Plantation and Swamp Tours
All around the great city living are wonders of nature. Nestled on the majestic Mississippi, New Orleans is the perfect spot to visit a rich natural landscape and a slice of American history through a tour of the swamp lands and local plantations.
